The lady who lived in the"Karl" before me and my roomates did must have been a serious gardener. That's really interesting for me, since I , too, am a gardener. This spring--the second since I have been in this house--I have watched several different sets and breeds of bulbs pop up and bloom colors so bright that I can hardly believe they are real. In the midwest this (to the left) is a common thing to see in the early Spring. This is why Easter can be extra special when it happens in April as opposed to March. March is an extention of (ugly) winter, here, while April is the sudden ressurestion of all that God has created around us.

Terrific tulip! True also that resurrection comes to each of us without our having expected or earned it! In much the same way that bulbs, tulips included, come and surprise us.
